Vegan waffle recipe

Ingredienti
  

  • 10 g flax seeds flour
  • 120 g water
  • 40 g brown sugar
  • 20 g oil sunflower
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla natural extract
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Istruzioni
 

  • Preheat the oven at 360°F. Heat water in a large bowl up to the boil then pour the flax flour into it. Stir well using a whisk, then add brown sugar and stir until it dissolves completely.
  • Add the oil, salt and vanilla, then sieve flour and baking powder and add them to the batter little by little, stirring constantly with the wisk. Go on until you get a smooth batter.
  • Divide the batter into 4 waffle molds and bake them for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool down and serve with the topping you prefer such as chocolate, jam, fresh and dried fruit.

Note

My vegan waffel keep well for a couple of days at room temperature, closed in an airtight container. Keep in the fridge if you want them to preserve longer.
These waffel are best warmed up for 3 minutes under the oven grill: the outside will get crunchy in contrast with the softness inside, really tasty!
