Tofu and pear mini pies

For this recipe you will need six 7cm round tartlet molds.


  • 1 ready rolled vegan puff pastry
  • 200 g natural tofu
  • 2 pears
  • salt pepper q.s.
  • powdered turmeric to taste
  • fresh herbs leaves thyme, marjoram, etc.
  • mixed seeds flax, pumpkin, sunflower, chia, etc.
  • 1 tablespoon of plant milk for brushing


  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Cut the pastry in circles you will need to cover the tartlet molds bottom and borders.
  • Place the puff pastry circles into the molds and prick the bottom with a fork.
  • Peel the pears (you can avoid this if you use organic pears), cut them thinly and place them in a bowl.
  • Add to the pears crumbled tofu, salt, pepper, chopped herbs, seeds and turmeric and mix well.
  • Fill the pastry shells with the pears and tofu filling, then brush the edges of the pies with a little plant milk; you will get a nice golden pastry colour after baking.
  • Bake the tofu and pear mini pies for 30 minutes, then let them cool slightly and serve immediately.


These small delicious pied can be prepared in advance and served also at room temperature or slightly heated in the oven, they will be yummy as freshly baked.
