Peel the clove of garlic and add it into a pan along with the extra virgin olive oil and tomato sauce; let all simmer for a few minutes.
Meanwhile cut the seitan into half a centimeter thick slices and rinse well the capers to eliminate their salt.
When the tomato sauce reaches the boil, remove the garlic and add the seitan slices. Add capers, a small pinch of salt, oregano and fresh thyme to taste. Let simmer until the tomato sauce gets thick.
If desired, add some dried chili then serve.
Note
I recommend combining the dish with some good, fresh, whole wheat bread, wherewith you can enjoy the pizzaiola sauce :) You can substitute seitan with natural tofu.
